			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The first annual Yankee Springs Winter Challenge is in the books!  We had unseasonably mild weather and a much bigger field of runners than what anyone expected.  We want to congratulate all our finishers and thank our great crew of volunteers who made the race a success.</p>
<p>The second annual Yankee Springs Trail Run is scheduled for June 2, 2012.  We will again offer the half, full, and double marathon distances.  <a href="http://raceit.com/search/event.aspx?event=01948e59-4186-4f26-ab16-fa86ab4d2944.aspx" target="_blank"> Click here to register online.</a> Sign up early, since we expect to fill this race to our limit of 300 runners.  <a href="https://www.raceit.com/Register/registrantSearch.aspx?event=7708" target="_blank">Click here for a list of registered runners.</a></p>
<p><img src="http://yankeespringstrailrun.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/LLOC-Mansion-House.jpg" style="float: right; margin-left: 20px; margin-top:10px" title="Mansion House"><em>New this year:</em> We will be starting both races at the <a href="http://longlakeoutdoorcenter.com" target="_blank">Long Lake Outdoor Center</a>.  The Long Lake Outdoor Center is a camp built by the CCC in the 1930s.  It has 16 cabins, 4 bunk houses, a bath house, and a dining hall.  With this facility we can provide lodging for runners.  At the spring race runners who choose to stay at the outdoor center will also have use of the bath house and showers. </p>
